A New Toy.....
Farmer and I bought some of those picture taking binoculars from a guy at the bar last week. Unfortunately there aren't any super cute neighbors in the immediate area to take summer time pictures of (shirtless and washing the car...). We do have quite a bit of wildlife activity in the backyard though, so once in a while I can capture a critter or two frolicking about.

Here is a pretty cardinal that was braving the cold winds today, looking for seeds and such to take back to the nest.

Here is the neighborhood bully. He's a nasty old tom that likes to chase the other cats about. Farmer stuck some spaghetti from the other night out on the cement slab, and that old bastard was brazen enough to come into our yard to nibble on it! He's lucky that it was deathly cold out, or I would have been out there throwing things at him.

The xmas shopping is finished, other than some stocking stuffers for Farmer. I'm planning on hitting the Dollar Tree during lunch this week and finding all sorts of cheesy kitch to load the socks up with. We've been invited over to Gina and Buddy's trailer on Christmas day for some cocktails. I'm just hoping a fist fight doesn't break out...well, unless of course two chicks or a midget is involved....
