Sorry bitches. The last few months have been crazy, so the journal had to take the backseat for a while. I'm going to try much better to keep up now that things are starting to settle down.

Here's a quick recap....

Farmer and I are still together, and pretty happy.



Here we are being molested by Chi Chi LaRue over the 4th of July weekend. It was like being mauled by a fashionably dressed bear.

I got the job in Lawrence (Kansas City)! I have to report in mid-September. In the meantime, that means I have to sell my home dammit. Anyone want a townhouse in beautiful Des Moines Iowa for real cheap? I'm thinking that I'll put it on Craig's List...

Ms. Blanche is sassy as ever as can be seen. The chair was one of Farmers purchases. He likes antiques and stuff.



Right now I'm in the Des Moines airport heading down to Gulf Shores Alabama for a meeting. I've heard rumors of a hurricane brewing in the Eastern Caribbean...so this could get interesting. I just hope that I get internet reception down there. A group of us rented a house on the beach, so this should be fun as well as productive.



So anyway...I'm sorry for being MIA...will be better in the future. Once you get behind it becomes an evermore daunting task to pick up the keyboard and start typing again.
